Secondly, there’s an election coming up (you probably know that) and we’d like to publish a series of short pieces on people’s thoughts, whether its about the campaigns, the wives or the ever increasing presence of the party leaders on TV and in women’s fashion magazines.
You don’t need to be a writer either. While comment pieces will be well received, our ethos hasn’t changed – maybe you think you’ve summed up the political climate in a photograph, a cartoon or even some creative writing.
Just email your submissions and/or ideas to sleepyorange@hotmail.co.uk – we’ll play each submission by ear rather than having strict guidelines.
Also, this week on Sleepy Orange we’re bringing you the first part of some remarkable poetry from Ray Morgan. You’ll be able to catch the next two poems the same time next monday. Don’t forget you can comment on any article on Sleepy Orange so if it makes you want to say something we’d encourage you to come right out and tell us what you think!

Morning SO’s; Not much news really other than the fact this month has seen some absolutely AMAZING submissions, and we just wanted to say thank you to all our new contributors (some of whom you can now see on the contributors page)
We’ve had a couple of emails from people regarding events but it is unlikely that there will be any live SO events / gigs / etc for the foreseeable future. This doesn’t mean we’re not keeping your details for the next time SO do feel like having a party. This decision is partly because we’re no longer all permanently based in Norwich and also we’ve been enjoying focusing on the magazine side of things for a little while.
